Divide by the number of values \( (n = 5) \): \( \bar{x} = \dfrac{50}{5} \).

The mean is the "average" - the sum of the values over how many there are.

Central Tendency. Find the median of: 3, 9, 4, 7, 6.

First put the data in order: 3, 4, 6, 7, 9.

There are \( n = 5 \) values (odd), so the median is the middle (3rd) value.

The mode is the value that appears most often.

Range = maximum value - minimum value.

Maximum \( = 45 \), minimum \( = 11 \).
